Description
The name Fettercairn means “Foot of the mountain” and surrounded by luscious green glens, the village lies in one of Scotland’s most fertile regions. This is without doubt reflected in the whisky.
The Fasque estate has been home to the distillery since 1824.
The whisky is honey gold in colour; on the nose traces of treacle toffee, spices and pear. The taste is of dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is of rich vanilla and citrus fruits.
