Description
Bere is a variety of barley once commonplace in Scotland but had long since fallen out of favour. The good people at Bruichladdich have re-introduced this and the resulting whisky is bold.
Texture like honey, rich and incredibly viscous, and as always the fruit is to the fore, apple, pear and peach over cinder, toffee and apricot jam.
