Description
An interesting release from Ardbeg following on a trend for younger releases.
On the nose; intense with charcoal, creosote, tar and treacle toffee. A drop of water releases herbal notes of coriander and lavender. It’s an Ardbeg so expect woodsmoke, and salty sea spray.
The taste is peppery, with treacle toffee, aniseed, salted caramel, chocolate with hint of eucalyptus.
The finish is long and lingering with peppermint and clove.
