Highland Park
A premiership whisky that is amongst the finest in the whisky world. The most northerly distillery in the world was founded in 1798 by a Magnus Eunson. The distillery has its own maltings and uses locally cut peat for to fire the kilns. The late whisky writer Michael Jackson called Highland Park “The greatest all rounder” in the world of malt whisky Strong and smoky in taste a classic nightcap. We finally visited in 2016. And were not disappointed with fantastic hospitality and superb whisky.
