Description
A classy release from Deanston. Matured exclusively in ex American White Oak bourbon barrels the resulting whisky has the colour of golden caramel.
The nose is aromatic, floral, grassy and malty. Balanced with notes of American oak, honey, tobacco and nutmeg. On the palate gingerbread sweetness, vanilla and barley sugar with spicy white pepper, manuka honey and citrus.
The finish is dry and spicy with a hint of honeyed ginger warmth.
