Description
Released at the famed Spirit of Speyside whisky festival this release from Tamdhu has all the characteristics that you expect from a Sherry casked dram.
Rich amber in colour. It has vanilla on the nose with hints of clove, raspberry jam, shavings of dark chocolate and orange peel. The palate is one of demerara sugar, toffee, shortbread, baked fig, dark berries and toasted oak.
The finish is warming with long sherry notes, gentle spice and lingering fruit.
